Well, hello there again, it's great to see you. I wasn't sure if I was going to publish today, but God has been good to me again and provided this.

I was visiting a Facebook friend's page the other day and found this. (I hope she doesn't mind me using it here)

"Do you know the relationship between your two eyes?

They blink together.

They move together.

They cry together.

They see things together.

And they sleep together.

Even though they never see each other.....

Friendship should be just like that."

Do you have a friend like that? One that you may never see, but with whom you act in harmony.

My relationship with my Heavenly Father is just like that. I cannot see Him physically, but I know that He is always with me. He leads me and sometimes just walks by my side. He shows me the beautiful things in His world and sometimes shows me the terrible things in mine. We laugh together and many times cry together. He knows the inner secrets of my heart but will never reveal them.

Thankyou Lord for being the best friend anyone can ever have. Amen
I have to go now so remember, God loves you and wants you to be His friend and so do I.

  1. Hi Susie,
I love this description of Friendship.

I got your message, and decided to post my reply here on your blog. I do so appreciate your letting me know you're thinking and praying for Clinton and me. I can feel the prayers of many.

Things have been rough - it's all so new to us, and being Caretaker is entirely against my nature.
Help is finallly on the way. Our Doctor has given us some resources that we'll be able to use to our benefit. Keep the prayers coming.

Keep writing, too. You're good at it. Don't be discouraged by lack of comments. It takes time for people to discover your blog.

You might want to check out http://blogs.christian.com/
(Just copy and paste the address since it doesn't appear here as a link.) Check out the site before you join. I think you might find it a good fit for you.

Thanks for being my friend even though we never see each other.

  2. Thanks Maryjay, I continue to pray to Our Good Lord for you and Clinton and appreciate the time you take to encourage me. Thanks for the blog reference, I shall get to it soon. You will probably be pleased to know that God has finally made it clear to me (in a painful way) that He wants me to retire. My arthritic thumbs are making it impossible for me to work without splints and so I have made an appointment to see my financial advisor at the end of this month. Retirement should occur late August / early September. Now I just need to find out where I am needed. Please continue to pray for the answer.
